Clicking "format" will create output that groups and formats biblical references using SBL/CBQ abbreviations, into one line for use in footnotes, etc.
The input should contain the references such that distinct citations are separarted by a newline or by a semicolon; and separate verses in the same chapter by commas: "1 Sam 4:4,5; Gen 12:3"
Aftern clicking "format", you can click "copy" to copy the results to the system clipboard, to enable easily pasting into another program.
